About Us
Founded in 2021, Red River Vintage is based out of New York and New Jersey. A student of the fashion industry, I seek to bring people uniquely vintage pieces. I source my clothing from mining personal collections, thrift shops, vintage stores, and specialty markets across the country and world. My mission is to create a comfortable and affordable shopping experience providing one-of-a-kind expressions of style through individuality.
With Red Rivers all over the world, my inspiration for Red River Vintage comes from the Red River of the North that runs through Grand Forks, North Dakota – my place of birth. The winters in North Dakota bring some of the lowest temperatures in the U.S., well below zero, with high snow accumulations. When the hot summers approach, the accumulated snow melts into the river, sometimes flooding the entire city. My parents and I evacuated after the Flood of 1997 and ultimately ended up in a small village in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York after a short stint in Moss, Norway. After growing up in the shadows of the United States Military Academy at West Point and studying Fashion Merchandising at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, I now live in New Jersey. I have access to the best and brightest curations of vintage, and I bring them to you.
